The Society of Professional Motorsports Journalists (SPMJ) is a prestigious organization dedicated to supporting and representing professional motorsports journalists across all forms of media. Founded in 2024 by Paul Page and Michael Knight, SPMJ is anchored by three core pillars that define our purpose and drive our community:

SPMJ was founded to uphold the tradition of recognizing and supporting motorsports journalists across all racing series. Inspired by the foundation laid by Bob Russo and Bill Marvel in 1955 for the American Automobile Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association (AARWBA), we honor the history of our sport and the legendary professionals who paved the way.
