About the Guest Dr. Pat Sullivan served as a professor at Indiana University for 30 years, becoming a Chancellor’s Professor and Associate Dean in the School of Social Work. Alongside his career in higher education, he has maintained a deep, lifelong involvement in auto racing:
Broadcaster & Announcer: Has announced more USAC races than anyone in history, with extensive work spanning NASCAR, IndyCar, and Indianapolis 500 qualification interviews.
Author & Journalist: Acclaimed writer and historian documenting the icons and history of American open-wheel racing.
Hall of Fame Inductee: Inducted into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in 2017 for his outstanding contributions to motorsports journalism.
